Poison oak on a log. Hiking in Tilden Park
Tilden Park, Oakland CA
Poison oak is ubiquitous in the open space parks in the bay area and in northern California. You gotta keep an eye out. The rash that you potentially get can be quite troublesome. Easily identifiable, by the three leaves.
This is a throwback image that I worked on to see if I could improve the original edit. Unfortunately, the original raw file is lost and all I could work on is the JPEG. Kinda removes a lot of options for improving on the original image. But finally, I switched to a black and white image, and the possibilities of improving on the edit started to increase. Not a whole lot, but enough to make me happy enough to include this photo from 2018 in my blog file. What do you think of the edit? Give me your thoughts on this image in the comments. I read every one. Thanks,
