Pot ‘o Tulips. Variegated red and white first of the season at Filoli
Woodside CA
This pot looks like treasure at the end of a rainbow. Faith and begorrah, how do you say leprechaun in Dutch? Actually, the word in Dutch is Kabouter. And in the low countries, they are tiny and mischievous men with long beards and tall pointy red hats, not green like their Irish cousins. (think gnomelike)
How far off topic can I get? These lovely variegated pink-red-white tulips, to me, look like Dutch treasure. The tulips are just starting at Filoli in Woodside. Be on the lookout for the next few weeks. Also watch out for tiny men in weird hats, just sayin.
