Gay Pride at Lands End.
To honor Pride Weekend in San Francisco, here’s an image of the rock or sea stack just off the coast at Lands End, the westernmost point of San Francisco. I took this image and then added the color. Kinda like virtual graffiti. This year's Pride weekend falls on the exact date that the Supreme Court ruled that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Now nine years later, it seems that the sky is no longer blue, up is down and we all wish we could turn water into wine (if only to cope with the betrayal of 4 of the Justices who lied to get confirmed to their jobs, but I digress). I love this image because it symbolizes just before the Golden Gate, a heart. I added the rainbow colors of Pride to symbolize that San Francisco is always a city where Love is Love.
