Fog was on the agenda, as the temperature soared just 5 miles inland. It’s a typical occasion in Pacifica. Locals wear it like a badge of honor. The coolest spot in the bay area. Above me, a hint of blue sky, but just off the shore, a layer of thick fog rolled in and out of view. My intention was to get an image of the sun shining on the rock face with the mist in the background. The brown and tan color contrast would have been wonderful. But that wasn’t in the “big” plan. For me, any day on the beach is a good day. The vibes are almost always positive. With my camera and a wiping cloth to clean the lens, I waited as the fog blew in and out between the sea stacks. Not a bad return for an hour or so at the beach.
