My website re-launch!

I am so proud to announce that I have just re-launched my website. MichaelReiningPhotography.com and its mirror site MichaelReiningImages.com. Both will take you to links to my portfolios - where you can purchase prints of my images, my blog - keeping you updated as to where and what I am shooting, a shop where you can help support my business by ordering a 2023 Calendar, photo greeting cards featuring my images on blank card stock or simply donate to the cause (that being capturing and posting images that inspire me.)

I would also be grateful if you shared your favorite images from my website with your friends and family on social media. I'm sure you can relate to my dream of being able to make a living doing work that I am passionate about. It's a small ask, but every share, mention, or purchase moves me even closer to that goal.

have been a photographer since childhood. My passion ignited on a 50 mile hike in the Sierra as a boy scout. My compact instamatic camera got a workout. Shortly after, I graduated to an SLR camera. I wore my first SLR, a Praktica, around my neck for almost all my senior year in high school. I live in the most wonderful place on the planet, the San Francisco bay area. The City is amongst the most picturesque in the world, and with good reason. There are so many iconic features, most notably the Golden Gate Bridge. Beyond the City, we have the amazing California coast both north and south of the bridge. Parks and preserves are always close at hand. I love the fact that I can be downtown and within 5 or 10 minutes, I can be deep in a park with no cars or traffic and few people.
