Also known as the Great Beach, this strand of undeveloped beach stretches north from near the Point Reyes Lighthouse 11 miles to the opening of Tomales Bay.
I have been using Lightroom by Adobe to edit my photos for over 3 years now. And I have been very happy with the program. It is very sophisticated and has many features. So many, I am still learning about a lot of them. But now, Lightroom has gone into the stratosphere in terms of my satisfaction. With the latest update of the program, I am literally over the moon. Without boring you and getting into the specifics, let me just say that Lightroom’s new “Masking” feature is beyond wonderful. With that feature, so many granular details can be enhanced, improved and are easier to edit.
@markdennyphoto had a YouTube clip where he encouraged photographers to take time to go back and re-edit photos. So with the new Lightroom, I’m going back to some of my old favorites and giving them a new cut. Here is one of the first re-edits from Point Reyes beach. Taking this image, I waited for the light to get better and wasn’t disappointed. And now with the new features in Lightroom, I can really bring out everything I wanted in this image.
